Is this really my first Journal entry?
I've had this thing forever, and visit most days, though you probably wouldn't guess it, judging by my lack of activity.

I don't draw much anymore. I haven't sat down and drawn for more than an hour in more than a year, now, I guess. And its been longer than that since I've drawn something worth scanning.

I am more or less convinced that I have become lazy, but others ensure me that I am busy, and although I can't argue with that, I'm sure I could fit some time to draw in if I really tried.

Have I lost interest? No, I don't think so. I would love to draw for hours and hours.
Have I lost motivation? Once again, I doubt it. There are many reasons I'd love to draw..
Have I lost ability? Not too sure, sometimes it feels like it, yet I manage to convince myself I'm just not putting enough effort into my work.

So whats missing?
Dedication.

Once, art was my life. I needed it to live, more or less. But these days, my life and time is poured into other activities.

Between Church/Youth, Work, and Damian, I have little time to sit and draw.

Another thing is space. This house is tiny! There is no where for me to set out a decent sized sketch book and a set of pencils and draw. I need space!

We're moving back to the old house in a month.

Consider it a "New-Old House Resolution" to draw more.
